I was very lucky to find the following 1994 Metro sitting at the back of a local car dealer's yard.  Someone had bought it from them, but the starter motor went on the car, and it wasn't worth the garage repairing it, so it had just sat there for quite a few months.  I wasn't interested in the condition of the engine, so this was ideal for a donor.   I managed to buy the car for £50 (which I was very happy about!) and the garage even delivered it for me! The car has over 141000 miles on it which I find remarkable as its only got a 4 speed gearbox!
